Five Kingdoms of the Feyborn
Before the war, the Five Kingdoms of the Feyborn were overarching cultural power in Demer’ta. This being said, these Elven and Eladrin kingdoms were only loosely connected, and that primarily because of their similar cultures and racial heritage. The nature of the Five Kingdoms was a fascinating, in that they existed in this world, but also in the Feywild. In the Five Kingdoms, the planar boundaries between our world and the Feywild were tenuous at best. Within the capitol cities of each kingdom slept the five Fey gods. In their massive temple complexes, each god kept ceaseless repose, waking but rarely.
These days of prosperity have long past, however, for two of the Five Kingdoms perished. Pride, arrogance, and suspicion led the Kingdoms to quarrel amongst themselves, forsaking old kinships. The Kingdoms of Riil’var and Thiir’vaas were utterly destroyed, and now only three remain. Sah’akii, The Grave Baronies, Vress’natar, The Burning Lands, and Ays’illith, The Forgotten Forest have changed dramatically as a result of their own machinations.
